JOB TITLE: Girls RL Development Officer and Competitions Co-ordinator

JOB ROLE: To build the profile of Girls Rugby League in Leeds, by delivering PE Lessons and after school clubs in Leeds High Schools encouraging the girls to play for their school team and/or local community club. Provide opportunities for children in Primary and High Schools in Leeds to play in Rugby League Competitions throughout the year ranging from tag, touch and contact.

SPORTING BACKGROUND: I have played Rugby League since the age of 7 where I played at my local community club East Leeds. As I reached 11 I had to join a girls only team so moved and played for Middleton Marauders which later changed to Hunslet Hawks Girls. I now play open age women's rugby league for Leeds Rhinos Women and was recently names the first ever captain for the 2018 season.

BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT: Representing England Women in the 2013 and 2017 World Cups.

ROLE MODEL: Mum & Dad.

SPORTING ROLE MODEL: Dame Kelly Holmes & Jess Ennis

BEST SPORTING MOMENT: Watching Dame Kelly Holmes and Jess Ennis win their famous Olympic titles.
